Mousharaka: icograda design week in Qatar www.mousharaka.com

Moushraraka: icograda design week in Qatar will bring together
practitioners, scholars, and students across design disciplines,
cultures, and regions to focus on the theme of Collaboration to build
bridges, raise awareness, and create bonds necessary to achieve the
full potential of design in the Arabian Gulf.
Mousharaka: icograda design week in Qatar will be composed of:
Education Symposium bringing together educators, students and
professionals to share research, pedagogy, and new thinking on the
theme of collaboration; students will engage in two-day design
workshops culminating in an exhibition of the work produced.
The Professional Conference will present 4 keynote speakers and 8
prominent speakers who will share their perspectives on design and
design collaborations. There will be many opportunities to engage in
conversation during networking lunches and breaks with all speakers,
participants, and attendees.
Mousharaka: icograda design week in Qatar will also launch Design
Debate Doha—an opportunity for the design community to address an
important global design issue in debate form. The audience will decide!

Mousharaka: icograda design week in Qatar 2009, an international
conference exploring collaboration within the design field, invites
submissions for papers/presentations for its 2009 Education Symposium.
Submission Timeline:
October 15, 2008 Submission of abstract of no more than 500 words
November 15, 2008 Notification of acceptance
December 15, 2008 Submission of full version of your paper with
adequate references to the literature
